Cutline Speaks
7 Questions with… Jennifer P.

1. What do you do at Cutline?
I do a little bit of everything at Cutline and every day is different – which is why I love the place! One day I’m working on a PR plan and the next I’m working on messages for a new product feature. I could be working with a journalist to shape a story or media training a spokesperson before her first time on camera. And I try to make sure that Cutliners are happy, getting the professional development that they need and delivering for our clients.
2. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
First, I’d go to Estonia to do some genealogy research. (Did you know that the entire country of Estonia is practically covered with free WiFi? How cool is that for a small country that is mostly woods?) Then I’d go to the Maldives to hang out for a while in one of those cabanas on stilts over the water. I love the idea of just rolling out of bed and plopping into the ocean. When I got bored with that, I’d go scuba diving in the Galapagos Islands to see large marine life like dolphins, turtles and sea lions up close.
3. What’s the one gadget or service you wish someone would come up with?
A gadget that helps you remember all the great ideas you have for gadgets or services, but always seem to forget when asked!
4. If you could be any type of car, what would you be?
I guess an old Volvo, because that’s what I drive now. It’s 20 years old and still going strong. If I translate those car years into human years, I’ll be dancing when I’m 100.
5. What’s your “greatest” moment in PR?
There are so many great moments, but one of my fondest moments involves getting media to cover an international cat show. There's nothing like working with 900 cats and their owners competing for the big prize of "Top Cat". And if you've never seen a cat running a timed agility course, you have to check it out - it's great TV!
6. Beer or wine?
Beer. IPA.
7. Pirate or ninja?
Pirate. When I was 8 years old, I dressed up as a pirate for Halloween. And Johnny Depp is my secret boyfriend (he doesn’t know about it, it’s so secret).
