7 Questions with… Rachael H.

rachael.jpg1. What do you do at Cutline?

At Cutline I work hard and make people laugh, or at least, attempt to.

2. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would love to go to Chile, that’s my current obsession.

3. What’s the one gadget or service you wish someone would come up with?

A robot that does my dishes and cleans my desk. Also, a robot that goes and gets me coffee and knows I need it before even I do. So basically, a mind-reading robot.

4. If you could be any type of car, what would you be?

I would be a mini-cooper because like me, they are shorter than most of their species but really fast and really cool. =)

5. What’s your “greatest” moment in PR?

I started out doing communications for campaigns and helped elect a woman as governor. I feel like I made a little contribution to the sisterhood there. I also threw together a press conference where two CEOs of two high-profile companies were going to make a large announcement in under 12 hours.

6. Beer or wine?

I wish I could say wine, it seems so much more sophisticated and I’m half Italian, but I’m kind of allergic to it so often I default to beer. Is that too much information?

7. Are you a pirate or a ninja?

Despite what some of my COWORKERS have lobbied for, I firmly fall into the pirate category. In fact, I’d like to take this moment to quote author Chuck Klosterman who notes the current bias towards pirates over the ninja when he wrote, “Maybe you haven’t noticed, but — as a society — we are completely immersed in a pirate renaissance."
