Cutline Speaks

Are You Backing the Right (Tech) Horse?

electioncoverage.jpgSuper Tuesday is here, and the 2008 presidential primaries are really starting to take shape, with Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton emerging in the Democratic race and Sen. John McCain and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney emerging in the Republican race. While we here at Cutline would never advocate single-issue politics, we do pay a lot of attention to what's happening in the tech world, and as such are especially interested in the candidates' stances on the major tech issues of the day.

But since net neutrality, extended broadband access, digital copyright, and all the other tech policy issues of the day aren't likely to be part of the candidates' standard stump speeches, how are we supposed to figure out where these potential leaders stand when it comes to tech? Well, one great way is the election coverage that CNET News.com has been generating -- they're created a landing page that tracks what the candidates have had to say when it comes to tech, and provides regular campaign coverage with a tech slant. Check it out!
