Cutline cRaves: April 18, 2008

posted by The Cutline Team on April 18, 2008

The Cutline Team has once again been busy at work planning some good times. This weekend, we're checking out some concerts, going to the theatre and getting some rest and relaxation. More cRavable details after the jump!

* My wife is seven months pregnant, and we're heading to Palm Springs this weekend for a little R&R before our son arrives and we stop sleeping nights. The weather is looking good, so you can bet we'll be putting in some time by the pool at our resort, and will likely also try to work in a few hours at the spa. And while a trip to PS would normally mean a couple of rounds at a local course, the whole seven-months-pregnant thing probably means we'll be focusing more on our putting game. - Michael

* My weekend will be jam-packed with bluegrass. Friday night, I'll be at the Warfield Theatre to hear Yonder Mountain String Band; Saturday, I'm going to the Fillmore Auditorium to see San Francisco's own Hot Buttered Rum String Band; and Sunday afternoon, I'll be celebrating Earth Day in Golden Gate Park at this year's free Green Apple Festival, featuring, once again, Yonder Mountain. - Christian

* Saturday night I have tickets to see "Flaming Sin": London's Grand Guignol at the Hypnodrome Theater presented by the San Francisco Thrillpeddlers. The evening will feature the American premiere of Noel Cowards "The Better Half" and Christopher Holland's "The Old Women" in which my good friend plays a 15 year old girl in a lunatic asylum that gets stalked to death by crazy people. - Mel

* My plans are not nearly as exciting as my co-workers' outings to Palm Springs or the Hypnodrome Theater, but I will be attending Farm Baby Day at Frying Pan Farm Park near my home outside of Washington, D.C. Apparently it was a busy winter, and there are lots of new arrivals to show for it. I'm hoping my son will enjoy the fun and some spring weather! - Megan

* I'm headed to Kanye West's "Glow in the Dark Tour" show at HP Pavilion on Saturday night. The not-to-miss line up includes Rihanna and N.E.R.D. - Morgan

Have a great weekend!
