Cutline Speaks
Cutline cRaves: April 4, 2008

Another beautiful weekend in the city is just on the horizon. Have a look at what the Cutline team is up to after the jump.
* The winter's finally starting to break, so it's time to start brushing up on my bowline and my reefing technique and then get ready to hit the Bay! I haven't quite reached the point where I can, you know, actually own a boat, but if you can prove that you know which end of a mast is up, Spinnaker Sailing in San Francisco will let you rent one. The National Weather Service is saying we should expect winds of 15 to 25 knots on on Saturday, which is almost wild enough for a small craft advisory to be issued on the West Coast. w00t! - Michael
* Bullshead wins my award for best hamburger in the city: fine quality, large portions, great taste and a lot of variety. I especially recommend their buffalo meat burgers, which are leaner and just as tasty as beef burgers. Best of all, it's located right next to the Muni tunnel on West Portal, so it's especially easy to get to. Honorable mentions go to Barney's Burgers in Noe Valley and the Cutline team's very own haunt, Bistro Burger. - Christian
* I love getting out to new neighborhoods on the weekends, especially when it involves eating and drinking with friends. This Friday, I will be attending the grand opening of a new bar in SOMA called 330 Ritch. - Morgan
* I have friends coming into town next week, so I'm putting together my San Francisco greatest hits list. These include a trip to Coit Tower, a visit to the Golden Gate Park paddle boats and Japanese Tea Garden, the view of SF from the Marin Headlands, driving down Lombard Street and eating... pretty much anywhere! - Lauren
* I'm going to save up some cash this weekend to be able to buy one of the $233 tickets to the three-day concert coming up in Golden Gate Park called Outside Lands. The line up includes Radiohead, Tom Petty, Jack Johnson and some of my favorites like Rodrigo & Gabriela, Broken Social Scene and Cold War Kids. - Meghan
* This weekend, I'm going to be visiting the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to see the famed cherry blossoms. There's nothing better than spring in D.C. The National Cherry Blossom Festival started last weekend and runs through April 13. This Saturday, there's music and fireworks, along with lots of other events. Now if only it would stay warm and dry, we'll be set. - Megan
