Cutline Speaks

Cutline cRaves: September 26, 2008

posted by The Cutline Team on September 26, 2008

Summer is officially gone, the days are getting shorter and the Cutline team is planning accordingly. We've returned with the latest edition of Cutline cRaves, after the jump!

Major League Baseball's regular season ends this week and so will the San Francisco Giants' home games at AT&T park. I'll be there cheering them on, but likely also heckling Manny Ramirez and the rest of the Dodgers' outfield from the bleachers. At least my favorite perennial losers, the Chicago Cubs, clinched early and secured a homefield advantage for the rest of the post-season. Go Giants and Go Cubs! - Christian

I'm not going to share my plans for the weekend, because...well, because I don't have any plans for the weekend. But I will take this opportunity to pimp woot.com, which a friend turned me on to recently. I haven't bought anything yet, but I'll admit -- I've had the credit card out a couple of times before talking myself out of buying things like a fancy espresso maker (I don't even really drink coffee) or a 65-inch flatscreen. Such is the power of woot.com - Michael

Pats have a bye this weekend but I'll still be catching up on all the other teams and studying their defensive lines - hoping another shotgun run against us doesn't happen again. I'll also be filling out my family tree to track down my Irish relatives hoping to fill the holes in our heritage. -Meghan

I'm VERY much looking forward to enjoying an entire weekend with no plans at all after a very hectic few weeks filled with various get togethers and Oracle Open World parties. Maybe I'll have a little dim sum on Sunday if I'm up to it... - Tanya

Have a great weekend!
