Cutline cRaves - March 2009
posted by The Cutline Team on March 6, 2009
The Cutline team is taking a look ahead at what's to come in March. Check out the entries below to see what the team is craving this month!
In addition to the usual March distractions and the stuff unique to March 2009, I'll be spending the month trying to work myself back into shape in anticipation of the San Francisco spring and summer -- which for me always feature lots of biking, hiking, and other outdoor activities. I'm actually thinking of trying a new program. Anyone out there who's tried it? – Michael
My new favorite ski accessory is this ziplock baggie product. It's called an aLOKSAK, and it's a 100% waterproof bag made for extreme weather conditions. This is really a dream come true for skiers. During my last ski trip, I was eager to snap some photos, but my iPhone and camera battery died due to the cold weather conditions. Now, I'm headed off to Utah in a few weeks with my aLOKSAK, and I can't wait to give it a test run (thanks to the adventurelife.org). - Morgan
I signed up for a relay race from Calistoga to Santa Cruz the first weekend of May. Which means March is all about starting my distance training and getting into race shape. So, this month I'll be craving the basics – new running shoes, some sunshine, an occasional ice bath, and a hearty supply of Advil. – - Dan
While Tahoe is getting the base it needs for some powder days and the city is full of volunteer activities, I'm focusing on the snow and events for a non-profit I recently joined. Finally, an Irish girl can't forget to mention St. Paddy's corn beef and cabbage. – Meg
My March is full of moving and planning! Moving into the master bedroom that is! I’ll be saying goodbye to one roommate, while welcoming another. Engagement party and bridal shower planning will also be in full swing for me this month, as I'll be in two weddings this summer. – Tanya
Even though it'll be 60 degrees in DC, I'll likely be finishing up Nick Carr’s The Big Switch, while waiting around for baby #2 to arrive (with any luck, this weekend). If you have any interest in cloud computing and how it will impact the computer industry – check out Carr’s latest book. - Megan

That’s good that people are able to take the loans and this opens completely new opportunities.
