Good Apples: Cutline Volunteers at The SF Food Bank

posted by Meghan on November 17, 2009

The Cutline team spent the afternoon today at the SF Food Bank helping box up about 20,000 lbs of green apples. These boxes are now on their way to hungry mouths at local community centers, schools, and churches. The staff estimated that today’s work added to 60,000 meals. That’s equal to filling the seats at AT&T Park  one and a half times!
