Live to Work Out and Work Out to Live? Lance May Have a Site for You

Just how big are social networks? Well, apparently they're so big that they're starting to expand beyond the kinds of general, business, and mobile market segments that they've traditionally served and into some pretty targeted spaces. One of the latest examples is www.livestrong.com, the health-and-fitness oriented social network recently announced by seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong and former MySpace honcho Richard Rosenblatt.
Will some of these more esoteric networks be able to stay afloat? Only time will tell. But I'd be willing to bet that anyone who's looking for a riding group or has had to scrounge to put together a foursome would be willing to check out Lance and Richard's offering when it launches later this year.
