More ways to go green…

Despite the words of that immortal sage Kermit the Frog, it's actually getting easier to be green. Whether through local initiatives like Lights Out San Francisco or the nationwide phenomenon that resulted from An Inconvenient Truth, everyone jumped on the environmental bandwagon in 2007. These efforts are not slowing down (as some of my colleagues have pointed out) as people find more interesting and quirky ways to embrace green technology.

Take this PG&E billboard for example. What an ingenious way for an energy company to promote themselves -- talk about a strong and effective advertising campaign. Or how about this solar-powered wheelchair? It's like the next-generation hybrid for the senior-citizen set. I think items like these are just the tip of the iceberg, and I for one can't wait to see what gets developed next.
