Put your money where the mint is

Do you ever wonder where all your money goes? I know I do. I read quite a bit about a website called Mint.com in CNNMoney, PC World and Wall Street Journal, and I decided it was safe enough for me for me to give it a try. This site provides free personal finance software that allows you to see all your accounts in once place, whether it may be your checking, savings, or credit card accounts. From there it does all the work for you; it's like having your very own financial planner and it's very easy to use!
It's so great that its actually scary... It categorizes where you spend your money and automatically comes up with a budget that is within your means. This month I have gone over my budget on shopping and groceries by $100 dollars...oops! It also graphs out where you spend the most money in a easy-to-understand pie chart that can be read for the current month, the past three months and longer. I was amazed and appalled when I saw that in the past three months I have lost over $100 dollars in ATM fees alone. What a waste! Right there I could be saving that money, if I made more of an effort to go to my bankers ATM. I would definitely recommend Mint.com to anyone who needs help making a budget and staying on track like myself.
