What We Do
We realize the value of each client's story and the importance of telling it well, and we know that doing so often requires a mix of communications services. At Cutline, we don't believe in cookie-cutter PR programs, but there are some fundamentals that drive what we do:
- Storytelling: Some might call it messaging or positioning but, really, you just need a good story to tell. We help clients figure out their stories, and we help tell them.
- Launches: Whether you're launching a company or a product, it's crucial that you're talking to the right people and that your story is fresh and relevant. We've worked on launches small and large, and we know what works.
- Media: It's still the cornerstone of a successful PR campaign. It's just expanded. Reporters, bloggers, tweeters - they're all important today.
- Social: While we also love a good happy hour, we're talking about a different kind of social here. It boils down to making sure you're thinking about how to communicate directly to your users in the ways they want to hear from you. It's usually not a press release.
- Fire drills: It can be tricky to plan for a crisis, but you have to, especially in a world where access to information is immediate. We have helped clients navigate through crises of every kind, and we're by their side every minute.
Of course, there's a laundry list of things that every good PR person should know how to do (and do well) - writing, media relations, speaking programs, award campaigns, industry analyst relations, thought leadership, executive visibility, media training, and more. We work closely with our clients to figure out the right mix of services.
