Los Angeles Magazine: Your Guide to L.A.'s 'Swiftie' Specials and Events

After months of following along with screaming Swifties on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and encyclopedic Twitter threads, Los Angeles is finally getting their turn to experience The Eras Tour. Starting this Thursday, August 3, Taylor Swift will perform for six nights at SoFi Stadium to close out the North America leg of her wildly successful, euphoric, amnesia-inducing live run that highlights songs from nearly every album in her now 10-album discography.

Not all ticketing platforms are created equal, and given the madness that surrounded fans trying to get reasonably priced access to The Eras Tour, even politicians have been making noise about how broken the system is. DICE realized that a long time ago, and the alternative ticketing app is trying to help change the system for good.

“Experiencing your favorite artist live shouldn’t break the bank because of extravagant resale prices and hidden fees,” DICE President, Russ Tannen tells Los Angeles Magazine. “Like Swifties, we care about fairness and transparency. That's why DICE has utilized upfront, all-in pricing since day one, and we recently joined President Biden at The White House to show our support against junk fees. DICE is on a mission to get people out more through our fan-first approach and by breaking down the barriers that have historically made ticketing a frustrating experience.“
